I’m Dr. Yvonne Simmons Howze, the President and CEO of CYA. Originally from Florida, I’m a proud alum of Vanderbilt University, and I’ve been fortunate to receive recognition as a Kellogg National Leadership Fellow, a Certified Gallup Strengths Coach, and a Certified Manager of Quality and Operational Excellence. Throughout my career, I’ve trained over 3,200 individuals, helping them achieve promotions, higher salaries, and more fulfilling roles.

I’m passionate about delivering engaging, practical, and informative training that sticks. I’ve had the privilege of speaking at both national and international conferences, working with executives, managers, and staff in various industries, including government, education, business, and non-profits. I’ve always enjoyed seeing that "light bulb" moment when someone grasps a concept that can transform their work.

One of my favorite approaches is creating “Teachable Moments,” where I can offer new tools, skills, or insights at just the right time. I focus on customer-driven service, and I believe the key to success lies in the people who not only deliver the goods but are the goods. My toolbox is extensive, and I share it with enthusiasm to help people succeed in their personal and professional growth.
